A Photographic Exhibition about Brazilian
Women in London
by
the Brazilian Photographer Luiz Fernando Gomes
|
 |
Students,
housewives, entrepreneurs, nannies or solicitors. They're
all Brazilian and all live in London. But
photographer Luiz Fernando Gomes wanted to go beyond their
daily facade.
| In
SOUL BRAZIL - Energy Beyond the Vision, Gomes presents
a series of portraits of women who are self-assured, be
it walking in the park, smiling on the tube or holding
a pair of socks for an unborn baby. |
 |
"Lots
of people think that Brazilian women only know how to samba
and wear bikinis. I wanted to challenge this negative image",
explains the photographer.
